UID UK brings to the markets a number of unique services and products which have all been developed in-house, they include:

• RF Surveying Service, this identifies the precise requirement for coverage, throughput and results in a completely fit-for-purpose wireless network that has been designed and developed specific to the need of the customers’ application.
• UID UK is the UK’s only manufacturer of Department of Defence MIL 130 spec UID barcodes in aluminium. The codes which are uniquely used in US military applications are being looked at by both NATO and the MoD as the best way to track their assets.
• An in-house manufactured laser markable label stock developed to be marked either by a Co2 or Yag laser. The material has the added benefit of being destructible after application and has many uses across industry.

The UID UK team are well known in the industry with Peter Young, an AIM UK Board Member, specialising in 2D coding. Peter is currently on the Gold Standard committee aiming to bring consistency to 2D marking in the UK. Peter is also an active member of NASA (North American Supplier Alliance) which is highly pro-active in the implementation of coding into the US military.

Chris Waine brings extensive hardware knowledge to the team and has project managed and installed bespoke solutions all over Europe, and in every aspect of industry. Chris is also a member of AIM UK and is always keen to share his experience.
